Finally drove car home from auto club, as it had been blocked for a few days. Lowered jets by 1/6 of a full turn (established during previous tuning session) to make mixture richer, because car was stumbling a bit under acceleration. I think the leaky throttle shaft on one carb might be contributing to this.
